Support

When something is wrong at 6am.

Support is not a separate department here — it is the same people who specified and installed the system.

If equipment is down

Call, do not write

A form is the wrong tool for a chamber drifting overnight. The line reaches the technical team directly.

Tell us which system and what it is doing. We reply within one business day, and the request reaches a person, not a queue.

Before you need it

Plan the cover

SOP consultation, training and a maintenance schedule are what keep the 6am call from happening. Worth having before it does.

Preventative maintenance

Book the visit that stops the 6am call.

Calibration, inspection and validation on a schedule, by the people who installed the equipment. The request used to be a three-page PDF you printed, initialled nine times and scanned back. It is a page now.

  1. The facility Name, address, and a PO or quote number if you have one.
  2. Three weeks that work Two of them at least 30 days out. The fields will not offer you less.
  3. Your site hours When a technician can actually be in the room.
  4. The equipment Type, model, where it lives, and anything already playing up. Time and cost are quoted from this list.
  5. Who signs Somebody authorised to act for the facility.

Before you pick a date

  • Thirty days’ noticeTwo of your three weeks have to clear it. The form checks rather than trusts.
  • The lab must be downA live lab means working around it — longer, and billed accordingly.
  • Seven days to cancelInside that, the trip is billable. Rescheduling is not cancelling.

Service questions

What support actually covers.

What does NextGen IVF LifeLabs do?
NextGen IVF LifeLabs supplies, installs and services equipment for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and IVF laboratories. The work covers the whole life of a lab: planning and layout before anything is bought, specifying and installing the equipment, training the people who will use it, and then maintaining and monitoring it for as long as the lab runs. The company has worked with fertility laboratories since 2012.
Does NextGen IVF LifeLabs install the equipment it sells?
Yes. Installation and validation are done by NextGen IVF LifeLabs rather than handed to a third party, and the team trains the lab staff on the systems as part of it. The intent is that the person who specified the equipment is the person standing in the room when it is commissioned.
What does ongoing service and support include?
Preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration and validation, continuous monitoring with alarms, and technical support for the lab staff using the equipment day to day. Service is available on equipment supplied by NextGen IVF LifeLabs and, in many cases, on systems the lab already owns — worth asking about the specific model.
An incubator alarm is going off right now. What should we do?
Call NextGen IVF LifeLabs on 215-672-4838, or 215-672-4904. A live alarm on an incubator, a cryotank or an air system is a phone call, not a web form — the number reaches people who know the equipment. The request form on the site is for everything that is not happening this minute.
Does NextGen IVF LifeLabs service equipment it did not supply?
Often, yes. It depends on the manufacturer and the model, and on whether parts and documentation are available for it. Tell NextGen IVF LifeLabs what is in the lab and they will say plainly what they can and cannot cover rather than taking on something they cannot support properly.

Need service on a system you already own?

We support a wide range of equipment, including systems we did not supply.
